A young woman with curly hair walking down a serene winding road

The Road to Unstoppable

Four steps. One very individual journey.

Understand Me → Free Me → Support Me → Grow Me

Sometimes a young person can lose their way a little.

They may become anxious about things that never used to bother them. Lose confidence. Withdraw. Struggle with school, friendships or simply being themselves.

And sometimes, nobody really knows why.

But when a child is struggling, it rarely affects them alone.

Parents worry. Family life begins to change. Everyone adapts and, before you know it, the whole family can become caught up in trying to manage what's happening.

That's why The Road to Unstoppable starts with you, the parents.

Together, we begin to make sense of what's going on, understand what your child may be experiencing and help you feel more confident about how to support them.

Then, when the time is right, I work with your child too.

Getting To The Heart Of The Matter

When a child is struggling, it rarely affects them alone.

Anxiety, school refusal, meltdowns, withdrawal or challenging behaviour can quickly become something the whole family is living with. Parents can find themselves worrying, adapting, accommodating, trying everything - and sometimes not knowing what to do for the best, they start to wonder if they’re to blame.

That's why The Road to Unstoppable starts with the parents.

Together, we begin by understanding what's been happening, what may be sitting underneath it and how the current situation is affecting family life.

I then help you understand your child's responses differently, feel more confident about how to respond, and begin creating the conditions that can help things change.

From there, I begin working with your child or young person. They don't have to arrive enthusiastic, confident or even particularly keen to take part. Resistance is often part of what's going on - and one of the first things we can gently work with.

It does, however, help if we can persuade them to stay in the room.

From there, when the time is right, I work directly with the child or young person - helping them understand themselves, clear what's getting in their way and develop the confidence, calm and resilience to move forward.

So, we're not working with the child in isolation.

We're helping the family understand what's going on, change the patterns that may be keeping everyone stuck, and find a way forward together.

Programme Details

The Road to Unstoppable isn't about fixing your child or trying to turn them into somebody different. It's about helping the whole family find a way forward, while helping your child:

Not by trying to turn them into somebody else, but by allowing them to:

  • Understand who they are and how they work best
  • Let go of what's been holding them back
  • Discover the calm and safety already within them
  • Look forward with greater confidence and a sense of direction

Because unstoppable doesn't mean never feeling frightened, upset or uncertain.

It means knowing that:

  • You can trust yourself
  • Your internal Head Trash doesn't have to run the show
  • You can find your way back to calm
  • You know where you're going - and have the confidence, resilience and abilities to get there

What Could Change?

Every young person is different, so their Road to Unstoppable will be different too.

We help them in four specific areas:

Brave & Unstoppable - Feel comfortable being themselves
Understanding who they are, how they work best and recognising what's brilliant about being them.

Fearless & Unstoppable - Face things they've been avoiding
Letting go of old fears and emotional baggage so these no longer decide what they can and can't do.

Calm & Unstoppable - Handle life's ups and downs more easily
Feeling safer and more in control, with the ability to find their way back to calm when things get difficult.

Confident & Unstoppable - Move forward with confidence
Knowing what they want, trusting themselves and having the resilience and practical tools to work out what to do next.
