When you arrived on this planet you were a pure Unconscious mind, ready to absorb everything to keep you alive and well. Young children are walking unconscious minds until, gradually, your Conscious mind starts to take shape.

Think of an eggcup with a hat that gradually takes shape as reason appears; hence the magical phrase “Give me a boy until he’s seven and I’ll show you the man”.

Your Conscious Mind is the thinking, analysing, logical, rational over-achiever who loves making lists - and then forgets where they put them. Your Unconscious Mind communicates via feelings, runs your body, keeps your heart beating and has you cry at random dog videos.

You may have found yourself in a tug of war: ‘My head says no, but my heart says yes’.

Your Conscious Mind thinks, analyses, and dwells on things - like when you keep replaying that awkward text you sent three days ago. It shapes what you think of yourself and others, and what experiences mean to you. It also controls your Focus, Will and Perception. It’s the intellectual bit.

Many of today’s mental health challenges like ADHD, OCD, Anxiety, Brain Fog, or Forgetfulness are complicated by this thinking mind. You start noticing obstacles which you fix, dwell on or let go of - all of which happens in your head.

Your Unconscious Mind runs the show when it comes to emotions; one moment you're calm, the next you’re anything but. A comment, memory or movie is enough to have you fuming, euphoric, or in tears.

There are three powerful truths about your unconscious mind:

  • The images it holds shape how you feel.
  • It’s totally non-judgemental and doesn’t care what’s real and what’s imagined.

It’s like having your personal genie in a lamp. Your unconscious mind says Yes Master - and so it is.

You have far more control over your emotions than you’ve been led to believe. With awareness and practice, you can stop life’s ups and downs dictating how you feel and regain complete charge of your emotional health.

Emotional Anxiety is triggered by the stories playing inside your head.

Those quiet whispers of “I’m not good enough” or “I don’t deserve to succeed” hold you back from the happiness, love and freedom that could be yours.

If held consistently, the thoughts turn into limiting beliefs which can really scupper your plans! But, as soon as you see limiting beliefs for what they are, they can be released and replaced with something more useful. And that’s what we help you to do.
